Pastor Bob Arsenault, Founder and Senior Pastor of Vision of Hope

Bob Arsenault’s journey to faith is a powerful testament to God’s grace, redemption, and calling. Once a self-proclaimed atheist and a long-haired heavy metal band musician living a rebellious biker lifestyle, Bob never imagined the life God had in store for him. Everything changed in 2000 when he experienced a life-altering encounter with Christ and was born again. From that moment, he embarked on a Spirit-filled journey of transformation, learning to embrace the joy, humility, and purpose found in serving the Lord.

Despite his rugged beginnings, Pastor Bob’s story is one of hope and restoration. While he still enjoys riding his motorcycle nearly every day, his mission is now rooted in glorifying God and sharing the love of Christ with others. In 2014, he was ordained as an Associate Pastor at a small Georgia biker church, where his natural gifts for leadership, encouragement, and evangelism quickly became evident. Within a short time, he was appointed Pastor, and recently, God called him to plant Vision of Hope Church, a ministry built on love, grace, and truth.

Pastor Bob’s understanding of life’s struggles makes his ministry deeply relatable and impactful. Having experienced the brokenness of sin, he is passionate about reaching those seeking Christ, from families looking for spiritual guidance to individuals trapped in addiction and despair. His empathy, personal touch, and powerful sermons inspire and transform lives, planting seeds of faith on fertile ground.

As Bob approached his 40s, he felt led to deepen his knowledge and spiritual wisdom to better serve those in need. Through prayer, perseverance, and dedication, he earned several academic degrees that equip him to provide compassionate counseling and effective ministry:

• Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Biblical Studies, Summa Cum      Laude, Liberty University (2017)
• Master of Education in Counselor Education and Family Studies, Liberty      University (2020)
• Specialist Degree in Counseling and Supervision, The University of West Georgia (2024)

Today, Pastor Bob lives in Woodstock, Georgia, with his beloved wife, Carolyn. Together, they have two adult sons, Michael and Zach, and one cherished grandson. Pastor Bob’s life is a testimony to the power of God’s grace, and he is devoted to leading Vision of Hope Church with humility, joy, and unwavering faith.
